You can call me Reverend Jane. Jane began her ministry at Christ Church in the fall of 2019, and is delighted to accompany people in their discipleship journey. Jane is the daughter of Army officers and has lived in either 15 or 16 states (depending on how you count), and West Germany. She graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss!) in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, and a minor is Sociology. In 2003 she received her Masters of Divinity from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, California, where she focused on Practical Theology and Adult Formation. Before and after seminary, and before ordination, she served for over 20 years in the Episcopal Church in lifelong formation and ministry with young people. Jane was ordained in the best wine country anywhere, Walla Walla, Washington (Diocese of Spokane). Currently she serves with the Diocese of Pennsylvania on the Board of Trustees, Serviam leadership committee, and is an alternate deputy for General Convention. She has three cats: Glory, Poppy, and Molly, and enjoys visiting breweries with friends, reading and writing at coffee shops, and consuming both a gluttony of baseball (college and the Oakland Athletics), and soccer (USWNT and the Philadelphia Union). A book lover, book jacket reviews of Reverend Jane would say things like: inventive, erudite, genuine, ‘gets stuff done’, and ‘the most interesting church lady I have ever met.’ You can call me Deacon Dennis Dennis was first ordained into the Order of Deacons in June 2002, at the Roman Catholic Cathedral Basilica of SS Peter and Paul in Philadelphia. In early 2012, Dennis began his journey to the Episcopal Church, serving in a lay capacity. When Dennis retired from his position at US Postal Service Headquarters, he returned to his home in Wayne, PA. Then, in 2017, he began his formation for the Episcopal Church diaconate and in 2019, Dennis was received as Deacon in the Episcopal Church at the Philadelphia Cathedral. Deacon Dennis's current ministry at CCRP includes helping in outreach, partnering with the Ridley Park Methodist Church food pantry, and seeking ways we can better help the needy from the area. He is thankful for the generosity of our parish, and the outreach already set up here and knows there is always room for growth. Deacon Dennis has been married to his wife Noel for 43 years. The couple have 3 daughters, 4 grandsons, and 3 granddaughters. A high point in the couple’s lives is visiting with their family in Washington, DC, and San Antonio, TX. Dennis and Noel enjoy good films and TV shows. They are busy taking care of their 5 cats (2 indoor, 3 outdoor). You can call me Carole Carole was born and raised in Ridley Park and married a fellow “Parker.” Together they have a daughter, 2 dogs, and a cat and remain in Ridley Park staying active in the community. As a family, they enjoy traveling, reading, movies, board games, and most specifically, spending time on the beach. Her family is very service/civic-oriented and has served on many boards and commissions in Ridley Park, Ridley School District, and the Ridley Community. She is proud to be the President/Founder of Vest A Cop Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds to provide life-saving equipment for law enforcement officers.
