Pumpkins big and small, smooth and bumpy. Jack-be-littles, Baby Boos and gourds that are lumpy. The Pumpkin Church is pleased to be able to share our annual Pumpkin Patch will be popping up in October! Come browse the rows of pumpkins and find your pumpkin match right here in Ridley Park.

Why Buy With Us?
The pumpkins journey to Ridley Park all the way from the Navajo Native Reservation in Farmington, New Mexico where they are grown and tended to. Your pumpkin purchase supports Navajo Nation and indigenous agriculture another season.

Additionally, 20% of our proceeds are donated to help our community right here in Ridley Park. Ten percent will go to the Ridley Park Food Pantry (hosted our of the United Methodist Church on Swarthmore Ave), and another ten percent will go to support the outdoor education program at Eddystone Elementary. Our walk with Jesus is one of hope and generosity, and the Pumpkin Patch creates real impact for real needs in our area.

O God of Creation, you have blessed us with the changing of the seasons.
As we welcome this Pumpkin-tide may the earlier setting of the sun remind us to take time to care for friend and stranger.
May the colors of the gourds and the diversity of their shapes remind us of the belovedness of all of the earth and its creatures.
May the mushy pulp and seeds of these pumpkins remind us of how much power and tenderness is inside all of us.
May the harvest from the Navajo fields remind us of the abundance we share and our allegiance with the indigenous peoples of this land.
May the fading of summer sun remind us of your promise that death is temporary and life is eternal. We praise you and we give thanks to you.
In Christ’s holy name we pray. Amen.

Money is a lifeless substance, but without it, life as we know it isn’t possible. It takes funding to offer worship, fellowship, maintain buildings, care for one another. One of the steadfast ways that we offer gratefulness to God is through a pledge commitment.

Sponsor altar flowers to beautify the sanctuary with creations from God. Altar flowers are often shared "in memory of" or "in honor" of someone special and can be displayed the Sunday around a meaningful date. Information of sponsored flowers will be included in the worship bulletin.
