The rest of my time is spent reading, walking and relaxing by the pool with the grandchildren and friends. Lots of family time!!!

As we look to the future, I am confident that the Vestry and the Congregation of Christ Church will be true to the spirit of the Parish. Specifically, I look forward to the continuation of the LEM Program.
Summer Reading Suggestion: This past year I read a Book entitled “Laying Bones” by Reavis Wortham. I found the story to be a real page-turner and the author’s writing style to be excellent.

So what exactly is the Vestry?
The vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. Christ Church Vestry Members are elected at the annual parish meeting for a particular term. The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.
