Money is a lifeless substance, but without it, life as we know it isn’t possible. It takes funding to offer worship, fellowship, maintain buildings, care for one another. One of the steadfast ways that we offer gratefulness to God is through a pledge commitment.

Sponsor altar flowers to beautify the sanctuary with creations from God. Altar flowers are often shared “in memory of” or “in honor” of someone special and can be displayed the Sunday around a meaningful date. Information of sponsored flowers will be included in the worship bulletin.

Ongoing Outreach Collection

St. John’s Neighbor to Neighbor Food Pantry is a donation based service that takes place ever Tuesday from 5-6 PM in Essington. Starting in June and moving forward Christ Church Outreach will be collecting items to take over once a month. The bins underneath the coat racks will be our collection area. There is no deadline for the collection, it will remain a rolling donation.

If you are able to assist with dropping off donations monthly, please reach out to Deacon Dennis. As you know Deacon Dennis is still recovering from brain surgery, so let’s help him with the heavy lifting!
