Pledging and Planned Giving
Money is a lifeless substance, but without it, life as we know it isn’t possible. It takes funding to offer worship, fellowship, maintain buildings, care for one another. One of the steadfast ways that we offer gratefulness to God is through a pledge commitment.
Pledging is regular financial giving to the church, and your regular commitment allows us to plan more accurately for our mission here today. It isn’t being a stockholder, it isn’t a vote. It is part of true discipleship that is sown with hope, trust, and gratitude. We are blessed with a solid foundation thanks to the generosity of generations past.
The daily duty of ministry here and now falls to us. Giving begins in gratitude, and is a potent act of wholehearted devotion to God for all that has been given to us to care for, and a prayer to Jesus for who and what he is leading us to become.
