Michael was born in Pittsburgh and raised in a Roman Catholic family. He is a graduate of Allegheny College, where he majored in political science and religious studies. He holds a Master’s degree in Theology from Duquesne University.
Michael taught high school in Natrona Heights, Pa., for a number of years before deciding to enter seminary. He graduated from the Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah, Wisc., and was ordained as an Episcopal priest in 2003. He has served at Trinity Cathedral, Pittsburgh; St. Paul’s, Levittown; All Saints, Fallsington; and St. Phillip’s, New Hope, before his ministry at Christ Church Ridley Park. Michael has served on the Cathedral Chapter and as Area Dean. Presently, he is serving on the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Pennsylvania. He is able to perform marriages in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Michael’s interests include liturgy, monasticism, inter-religious dialogue, and issues of social justice. He loves traveling for the chance it gives him to experience different cultures — and cuisines — and he is not one to pass up a good Broadway show, ever.

Nick is a lifelong resident of Delaware County. He was raised Catholic, and he is a graduate of Saint George Parish School in Glenolden, Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill, and Villanova University in Radnor. Nick owns 2 Martial Arts Studios named Pal Che Tang Soo Do, Inc. with locations in Glenolden and Brookhaven. He has been training in Karate since he was 7-years-old. For the past 11 years, Nick was a Mortgage Loan Processor at Santander Bank, N.A.. He also has experience working in the fields of Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Accounting. Nick’s hobbies include traveling (44 of 50 States so far) studying foreign languages (mainly French and Italian) on Duolingo, following American Politics, and Coin Collecting.

Mackenzie graduated from United Lutheran Seminary with a Master’s in Public Leadership, where she was also able to take courses with Temple University’s Graduate School of Social Work during her studies. Her experience working in the education system (NJ & Philly) and living abroad in South Africa led her to seminary and eventually to positions in Youth Ministry. Currently she is focusing on Communications.
Happiest outside, Mackenzie loves hiking and reading in her hammock. She resides in New Jersey with her wife, two spoiled cats (Pickles and Luna Lou), and spending more time visiting family in Guatemala. You can find her experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or crafting in her downtime.
