Prayer: Beyond Just Reading
March 6, 2022 @ 6:00 pm
Evening Lenten Series
One of the questions some of you harbor is something like – ‘how do I really pray?’ For some people prayer beyond ‘just reading along’ is as natural as breathing. For many others, it is a daunting mystery or something they know they just haven’t really experienced (or they have been praying deeply, but not labeling it as such).
Our Lenten series this year will explore what the church means by the word prayer, what different persons do and feel when in dedicated personal prayer, and several different modalities (body, music, monastic) that will help you move beyond just reading along in your prayers.
Sundays 5- 6pm Hybrid (Zoom and In-Person [Masks optional for vaccinated persons]) in the Deppich Room. Registration for zoom link below.
