Why Pledging is Important
They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay green; in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit. – Jeremiah 17:8
Money is a lifeless substance, but without it, life as we know it isn’t possible. It takes funding to offer worship, fellowship, maintain buildings, care for one another. One of the steadfast ways that we offer gratefulness to God is through a pledge commitment.
Pledging is regular financial giving to the church, and your regular commitment allows us to plan more accurately for our mission here today. It is part of true discipleship that is sown with hope, trust, and gratitude.
The 2024 pledge campaign is in action and we hope you have been prayerfully reflecting with us on the ways your lives and ministry of Christ Church are rooted in abundance. Thank you for taking the time consider your promise to the financial functioning of Christ Church in 2024. In order for us to properly plan the budget for 2024, we need your pledge cards. No matter how you plan to pay your pledged offering (weekly offertory at worship, monthly through Vanco, etc.), we need your pledge card. There are many who give regularly but do not pledge, if this sounds like you, please consider submitting a pledge card.
The final day of the 2024 pledge campaign will take place on Sunday, November 19th. Please send or submit your stewardship commitment, via the pledge card (mailed, dropped at the office, or digitally submitted), by this date. At both worship services we will do a special gathering and blessing of the gifts.
