Money is a lifeless substance, but without it, life as we know it isn’t possible. It takes funding to offer worship, fellowship, maintain buildings, care for one another. One of the steadfast ways that we offer gratefulness to God is through a pledge commitment.

Sponsor altar flowers to beautify the sanctuary with creations from God. Altar flowers are often shared “in memory of” or “in honor” of someone special and can be displayed the Sunday around a meaningful date. Information of sponsored flowers will be included in the worship bulletin.

Supporting Seamen’s Institute

Christ Church is committed to providing 25 Ditty Bags to the Seamen’s Institute. These bags will go to Seafarers in the upcoming holidays who are living on cargos ships, often isolated and unable to return home to their families for months. Seafarers work hard to bring us goods and produce from all over to world to the Delaware River Ports.

October Collection for Philadelphia Seamen’s Institute:

Each week we will be collecting a new set of items, please feel free to drop them off throughout the week.

October 3: Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo

October 10: Nail clippers, razors, shaving cream, hand lotion, comb, Chapstick

October 17: Pens & notepads, mini-sewing kit, playing cards, hard candy/gum/cough drops

October 24: Hats and scarves (in dark colors), work socks, work gloves
