Outreach once again partnered with the Ridley School District Holiday Help Drive and Fair Acres Geriatric Center to share our generosity this upcoming Christmas. Our parish exceeds expectations in our generous giving and we hope this Christmas season is no different. Collecting items in the front pews of the nave throughout November till the first week of December.

Ridley School District Holiday Help Drive

Help keep our young learners warm! We will be collecting coats and hoodies.

Student ages and sizes range from kindergarten to high school senior
A variety of sizes and styles are needed (children to adult sizes)
Many older students in middle and high school do not like to wear coats to school, so sweatshirts and hoodies are needed just as much as coats.

Advice from the Ridley School District-Director of Pupil Services, “kids love Ridley gear!” The Locker is a great place to buy Ridley gear, located at the Ridley High School. You can also order online at https://thelocker.biz/. The Uniform Store on McDade Blvd in Folsom also carries Ridley gear. Kids seem to like and enjoy Ridley stuff the most... alongside Philly sports teams of course!

Fair Acres

Many seniors experience holiday loneliness, our neighbors at Fair Acres have shared the following list of items that are frequently requested and used by residents and just might brighten their Christmas to receive.

Large numbered battery-operated clocks
Coloring books/crayons/markers
Large print word search or crossword puzzle books
Writing paper, cards and postage stamps
Elastic waist sleep pants/cotton or flannel
Magnifiers – handheld & Reading glasses (cheaters) any RX
Suspenders
Lipstick
Clip earrings, long necklaces, magnetic bracelets
Flavorings for water
Cardigans or shawls with pockets & zip sweatshirts with hoods (machine washable)
Sweatpants and sweatshirts, especially 1X, 2X 3X and up
Slippers or slipper socks, any size ( must have closed backs and be non-slip)
Earbuds (earphones)

Money is a lifeless substance, but without it, life as we know it isn’t possible. It takes funding to offer worship, fellowship, maintain buildings, care for one another. One of the steadfast ways that we offer gratefulness to God is through a pledge commitment.

Sponsor altar flowers to beautify the sanctuary with creations from God. Altar flowers are often shared "in memory of" or "in honor" of someone special and can be displayed the Sunday around a meaningful date. Information of sponsored flowers will be included in the worship bulletin.
